Vinyasa Yoga & Relaxation
Hatha Yoga and Hatha Flow classes have the goal of aligning the body and spirit through physical exercises (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), relaxation and meditation. We use the breath to guide us in the postures and increase the body's internal heat thus aiding in it's detoxification, all while exploring the balance between effort and relaxation. These classes are ideal to relax and reinforce the body and calm the mind.
Vinyasa Yoga is a more dynamic practice that develops strength, alignment, and generates lots of energy. The postures are seamed together in fluid sequences guided by the breath. The synchronisation of the breath with the movements help maintain the vitality of the mind and body.
Please inform the teacher if you are pregnant or suffer from any injuries.
The practice of yoga postures is done on an empty stomach. It is preferred that you do not eat anything for at least two hours, three if possible, prior to class. If you do need a little power boost, have something light like fruit or juice.
Wear comfortable clothing.
We practice barefoot.
The studio has a dressing room and mats are available.
After class, drink an abundance of water to further detoxify your system.
Private and Company Classes
Tailored private Hatha and Vinyasa yoga classes for beginners and intermediate students who want to learn or improve their asana practice. Private classes can be one-on-one or small groups and are done in the comfort of your home or in the studio in Maisons-Alfort.
